Cinemajam is happening @ Circuit this Saturday!

Circuit Makati, the CBD’s newest premier playground, will live up to its name this weekend. It’s hosting Crizal Transitions Cinemajam, the first ever first ever outdoor movie marathon and music festival in the Philippines, on November 30, 2013!

Come on, peeps! Tix are Php 1,350 at Ticketworld, and proceeds of the event will benefit the children of the World Vision Foundation. If you buy Crizal Transitions glasses, though, you get two free. ;)

I live a stone’s throw away from Circuit, and seriously, the place is wired to give some of the best concerts evarrr. Cinemajam will also be one of the venue’s first few concerts to date, so the place is at optimum efficiency. Crizal Transitions could not have picked a more high-tech, easily accessible, crowd-friendly place without building it from scratch.

In what promises to be a rocking good time, Crizal Transitions Cinemajam will be bringing together some of the country’s top bands such as The Voice Philippines coach Bamboo, swoon-worthy Callalily, the ever-so-edgy Moonstar 88, and the ribald Itchyworms, and one of the most promising young band in the Philippine music scene today, GraceNote.

Mmmm. Bamboo.

Not content with just entertaining with music, the event will also feature two special movies, “Love, Actually,” and “Limitless,”. Both movies underline Crizal Transitions’ message of “Seeing life in a bright light,” offering different takes on love and life. “Limitless” is the story of a man who discovers a drug that unlocks all of his mental potential, but comes with a significant risk. “Love, Actually”, is a feel-good classic romcom that’s worth seeing over and over.

If you head on out to Cinemajam this Saturday, get there early – the afternoon starts with a host of exciting activities, beginning with an afternoon fair that segues into a sunset music festival and rounds off with an evening movie marathon and after-party concert. That’s a real bargain at the price of the ticket!

Gracenote, just one of the amazing bands you'll get to hear at the Cinemajam.

During the fair, there’ll be a free vision screening in the Optical Village section, where techs will check guests’ eyesight. Thrill-seekers can choose to go karting, bungee jumping, skating and kite-flying (OMG kite-flying).

By the way, you won’t just be having a good time. Proceeds from the event will be donated to World Vision, a global charity that helps underprivileged children achieve a brighter future through education. Specifically, the day’s profits will go to the organization’s relief efforts to help Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda victims.

World Vision is one of the international organizations who have redirected their regular efforts towards the more pressing needs of the typhoon victims in the Visayas region.
